Went to the plasma center to donate as I usually do on Saturdays. But for the first time ever, after I was done, they asked me to drink a bottle of water, while I was unhooked and putting pressure on the entry hole. Well I can't really do both things well, so I bled a bit, and got on my shirt, but they helped clean it.
Now the really weird part. After I was done shopping at Aldi's, a really cheap place for groceries, I saw a group of protesters across the street waving around flags, and some signs that said "no Sharia law" or "the Goyim know" and a few of them were dressed up in camouflage with guns. Then 2 blocks down there was a group of protesters on the opposite side of things, and a few were wearing yellow jackets with "meta peace team" written on them. There was also police directing traffic, and making sure the two groups didn't get into any conflict.
I've seen protesters around the State Capitol building before, but Aldi's is quite a long way away from there, so holding protests in that area doesn't make much sense.
Also, its been pretty dry lately, with very little rain. I hope it doesn't get to be a drought like it was last year
